ABOUT CIMtIG

CIMtIG is recognised by the UK travel industry to be the centre of applied marketing knowledge for the travel industry. No less than 1,100 members now enjoy the active and tangible benefits of our association, which has become one of the largest cross-sector travel associations in the UK.

Demonstrated through its long-standing relationship and support from its mother organisation, the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), CIMtIG is THE forum for professional debates on marketing matters related to the travel industry.

CIMtIG holds monthly seminars, the format usually being a ‘top table’ panel of 3 to 4 high profile speakers presenting differing aspects of a relevant and current topic, followed by open discussions and good networking opportunities aided by wine and buffet. In addition, CIMtIG organises two annual showcase events, the TV Clinic and the Travel Advertising Awards Gala Dinner, with attendance respectively of 200-300 and 500-600. These are both highlights of the UK travel trade calendar.
